form falters rhythm holds traces how the desire for order breaks apart. Constructed systems promise stability: digital calendars sync across devices, virtual meetings collapse distance into shared time, biometric devices monitor every step and heartbeat, and traffic lights dictate when to move and when to wait. And yet this exhibition reveals how order easily falters through spinning, flickering, ticking, and collapsing forms.

Across drawing, sculpture, video, and performance works by Martin Creed, Tacita Dean, Joan Jonas, Philippe Parreno, Monika Sosnowska, and Danielle Webb, the exhibition does not seek to resolve mismatch into legibility but rather invites viewers to linger in the unresolved. What does it mean to move through space—or through life—without insisting that everything stay in sync?

Curated by Ava Danieu, Rosaline Dou, Carmen Petit, Samrah Shoaib, and Landon Wilson.

Sincerest gratitude to Jaclyn Arndt, Dawn Chan, Lauren Cornell, Tom Eccles, Andy Gabrysiak, Amy Linker, Jen Nugent, Ramona Rosenberg, Mariano López Seoane, Ian Sullivan, and the entire exhibition team at CCS Bard for their support in realizing this exhibition.
