“Time confetti” is a concept that fragments time into small tasks, draining mental and informational resources while disintegrating creativity, language, and ideas. In response, I constructed a cocoon-like tunnel from packing tape layered with text fragments—book excerpts, diary entries, dictionary pages, and shredded documents—preserving my thoughts and other data through a process I call “fossilization.” The tunnel’s shape shifts with perspective, representing either growth and learning or a fragmented mind. The use of clear packing tape introduces an element of instability hidden within a fixative. Like attempting to capture the wind, my effort to hold onto this fleeting information is inherently fragile.
